We are an active motorcycle community created to bring like minded individuals together with the intent to inspire, encourage and celebrate people across the globe who love and enjoy the evolving motorcycle scene.

The idea began when Entrepreneur Shon @beyour_ownhero, an active member of the London bike community for several years, made the decision to form a movement that would eventually bring together riders all over the world under one unique name. In 2016, the first SlowBoys design was born, along with the slogan known to all as representative of SlowBoys: “Why So Fast”.

As the popularity of the group and the ethos behind it grew, Shon modified the design into the totally unique and distinctive logo we know today. The community has come to stand for inclusivity and positivity and has given people the opportunity to meet others who share the same values and passion. The original SlowBoys design is now instantly recognisable worldwide, with family members from the USA to Australia and particularly large communities in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

Original SlowBoys encourages riders of every level to register as a member of our family, whether they ride a supersport, naked or adventure bike. We can now be seen at many major ride outs and bike events internationally, while our family members actively contribute to group meets and promote local automotive services. Our riders range from track superstars in the UK and stunt riders in the USA to quad racers in Mexico.

SlowBoys’ third chapter was defined by a respectful homage to La Catrina, the iconic face of Día de los Muertos. Shon drew on this tradition not simply for its striking imagery, but for the powerful meaning behind it: a celebration of life, a remembrance of those who have passed, and a reminder that we are all equal in the end. As our international family continues to grow, that sense of unity remains central to who we are. The design also incorporated symbols from earlier SlowBoys logos, creating a meaningful connection between our history and the road ahead.

La Catrina paid particular tribute to the women who ride with us and reinforced our commitment to inclusion within bikelife. SlowBoys is a family built on respect, regardless of race, gender or identity. Everyone who shares our values has a place here. This legacy continues as our community grows, with men and women riding together, supporting one another and united by the same passion for the journey.

The Fourth Era: MR SJ

SlowBoys has entered its Fourth Era, a return to our roots and the beginning of a powerful new chapter for the family.

Leading this era is MR SJ, our latest logo design. He embodies the raw energy, resilience, loyalty and unapologetic spirit that define the SlowBoys Family. More than a logo, MR SJ is a statement of identity: a symbol of the riders, the bonds and the shared purpose that unite us across backgrounds through a genuine love of bikelife.

This is the Fourth Era: bold, grounded and built with intention. It represents our evolution without losing sight of where we began. As SlowBoys moves through different chapters, each with its own focus and expression, our values remain constant: unity, respect, inclusion, loyalty and passion for the ride.

MR SJ carries our story forward. He represents where we have come from, who we are today and the road we are determined to build together. The Fourth Era is here, made for those who ride with heart, purpose and pride.
